Active Sports Group create partnerships with Universities

At Active Sports Group we believe creating partnerships with Universities is vital to create working opportunities for students in the sporting sector. While they are gaining theorical experience through their studies we can offer practical workplace experience to further enhance their development.

Additionally, this is enables us to find future Active Coaches while their studying and post studies opportunities to come into our ever-growing head office team.

This month we have visited both Edge Hill and UA92. We believe Edge Hill is a vital partner to have due to not only being close to our HQ but staff James Cliff and Jack Lenehan being alumni of that University. By attending future careers day, we hope to continue this in the future developing new Team Active staff.

UA92 is a new and exciting partner that we have started to work with. UA92 gives us opportunity to reach out to passionate coaches in the Manchester area to help growing our coaching cohort and expand our delivery in the city and outskirts. The Careers Day was a great success speaking to multiple students that could coach within the Manchester area.

We aim to expand our networking around all universities around the North West to ensure we are providing feeder opportunities for students and graduates to gain in the sport sector.
